What to expect on my Web site and in my blog
This Web site and my blog entries are written for you—to help you understand and navigate the Web safely, and to help combat both the fear mongering and over simplifications that arise whenever new tools are made available.
This is the place to come with your safety questions and find practical advice on how to use the Internet safely. I’ll add new sections and new material within each section periodically. And I’ll update the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page as often as there are new questions to answer (and I have time to answer them).
It’s a place to learn what’s in the news on Internet safety and what you might want to think about when reading that news or how it might affect you. Expect news to be added whenever I see new relevant articles.
Expect new blog entries a couple of times a week. Some blog entries will be very practical in focus, others will be a bit more philosophical but hopefully most will be relevant.
I’ll also try to keep a calendar that lets you know when (and where) I’ll be speaking publicly if you want to attend.
Any biases are my own. The materials here are my recommendations, opinions, and suggestions and are not influenced by any company, religious, or political affiliation.
I hope you find the Web site useful, and return often to stay up-to-date on emerging issues or just to revisit tips you’ve already found useful.
